Pre-Wedding Shoot

I have so many talented friends around me. And Adi is one for them! She's a very creative person and is always full of creative ideas! So when I told her that I am thinking of doing a pre-wedding shoot, she offered to help right away! Thanks Adi!
And her hubby Adam, has the talent of taking very nice photographs! So Adi came up with a mood board. And days before the shoot, she roughly told me her idea of the whole pre-wedding shoot and what to expect that day.
Early in the morning on 3rd November 2012, at around 4am, I reached my make-up artist's place to do a trial run on my make up for the wedding day. I was terribly lack of sleep as I had class that ended at 10pm the day earlier and I was also working! Anyway, I was excited. Which girl don't like to be pampered right? Especially having her face done up by a professional! The whole trial ends at around 6.30am and we arrived at Adi's place around 7am.
We started the morning deciding what clothes to wear. As I have very limited selection and dull coloured clothes, I used Adi's. The first location was at Lalang field, Punggol. The weather was good. Not too hot and no rain. We had a few shots among the lalangs (mind you, it's not easy getting thru those plants!) Adi would show me the mood board she had prepared and asked me to act it out. It was very unnatural at first, but after a few tries, it got easier. It was fun! And we finished the shoots around 10am. As it was drizzling alittle by then, our next shoot was at Adi's place. (She has a very nice house!)
We took the main picture that we will be using for our invitation card first. We had a hard time getting Ugin to 'open' his eyes. Anyway, the photos turn out really nice! Will post them in a final complete post after the wedding in March. We also had several fun pictures like a photobooth!! When the sky cleared, we went down to the park with Adi's retro bicycle. Took a few more shots and we are done at location 2! (There's a total of 4 locations)
The next venue was at dempsy hill, Jones the Grocer. As it was a Saturday and a busy day for them, they told us that photography was not allowed. Though we managed to take a few while at our seats. With a little disappointment, we left and headed to the last location. It was rather unfortunate as it started pouring while we were on the way there. It was supposed to be at the Seletar Airbase. Anyway, the exact location that Adi had wanted was not there anymore. So we decided that we will end the day's shoot as the sky was also getting darker.
Although it didn't turn out exactly what we had wanted, I am blessed by God to have many nice pictures taken. Well, I could have a whole sunny day and none of the pictures turn out nice right? So, even tho it had rained, thank you Lord for blessing us that day with beautiful pictures! Amen.
